Washington, D.C.,  Monster Jam Triple Threat Series presented by AMSOIL® is headed your way in a couple of weeks!

Monster Jam will be performing at the Verizon Center on Saturday, January 28 at 1:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. and on Sunday, January 29 at 1:00 p.m. That's three opportunities to take you and your family/friends on a great adventure. I know someone who can't contain his excitement (see below).
The AMSOIL series can only be seen in select cities across the country and features the most extreme athletes of Monster Jam. Washington D.C. fans will witness a fierce battle for the championship with each competitor using customized high-powered vehicles: Monster Jam Speedsters, Monster Jam ATVs and the famous Monster Jam trucks. These premier athletes vying to be the nation’s capital champion are:
  • Grave Digger
  • El Toro Loco
  • Pirate’s Curse
  • Shark
  • Alien Invasion
  • Zombie
  • Monster Mutt Rottweiler
  • Blue Thunder

I've mentioned before how much of a fan my youngest son is of the Monster Jam brand. Liam wakes up looking for his Monster Jam trucks and goes to bed with at least one of them in his hand. We can't even leave the house without his favorite truck (this changes often) in tow. To say that he is obsessed would be an understatement. Take a look some of his collection:


How fun are these trucks? Here is some cool information for you to share with your Monster Jam enthusiasts:
Approximately 12 feet tall and about 12 feet wide, Monster Jam trucks are custom-designed machines that sit atop 66-inch-tall tires and weigh a minimum of 10,000 pounds. Built for short, high-powered bursts of speed, Monster Jam trucks generate 1,500 to 2,000 horsepower and are capable of speeds of up to 100 miles per hour. Monster Jam trucks can fly up to125 to 130 feet in distance and up to 35 feet in the air.
Are you ready to get your tickets? Monster Jam events are affordably priced for the whole family with seats starting at $15. Tickets are also available at www.ticketmaster.comm and the Verizon Center box office.

The Pit Parties on Saturday, January 28 and Sunday, January 29 from 10:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. give fans the opportunity to meet the Monster Jam athletes and get up close to the Monster Jam trucks. Pit Passes are available for $10 at the arena box office, online at www.ticketmaster.com or Charge by Phone at 800-745-3000. Same day event ticket along with Pit Pass required for entry.
