Simply Bridal Has "Try At Home" Wedding Dresses For Brides #sponsored #wedding #bride
Online shopping is not for everyone. Especially a bride-to-be. Browsing through hundreds of gowns of various styles, lengths, colors and price points is a daunting task within itself...at a bridal shop. Imagine taking a chance and ordering it from the web without even trying it own. I can hear the gasps, see the faints and taste the bitterness now. Let's hold it together, women. I have a great program to share with you.
Simply Bridal has a new option called 'TRY AT HOME' (currently in beta and available to the US only) that allows you to try your dress on, AT HOME, before you decide to purchase it. Here is how it works.
- Pick your favorite dress from our collection & tell us where to send it. The cost is $19.95 for up to two dresses.
- Try it at home and get the opinion of your family & friends! You'll have 7 days to get comfortable with the dress and see if you love it.
- Ship it back to us with the provided prepaid shipping label and receive a $19.95 credit towards your next dress purchase!
**I should note that I have on no make-up, I did not do my hair and I have not a care.
The Lydia gown is an elegant gown with delicate wispy cap sleeves and a relaxed sheath silhoutte. The tiered skirt elongates the body and the deep v neckline adds a touch of sensuality. Adorned with a short brush train, this dress is appropriate for all wedding occasions.

I must say, I love this dress. The quality is fantastic. It is heavier than I thought. The only thing I would change about this dress is adding a few more layers to the bottom to make it endless and touch the floor more. I know that the length is a bit off because this is a sample dress, so I'm not that worried about this aspect. I also can't decide if I would wear the sleeves or take them off. I have issues with my arms, so the flirty sleeves are great to cover up. I love the simplicity of this gown, how it flows in the wind and the ease of wearing it.
Next, Morgan Gown!
The Morgan gown is for a bride who likes a little drama. Knee length in the front but full length in the back, this edgy gown is softened with a sweetheart neckline and elegant satin material.I normally shy away from strapless. For one, my boobs have taken a hit, twice, from breastfeeding. Secondly, it brings attention to my broad shoulders. I never feel comfortable in them. I also hate finding the perfect strapless bra. I bet you're guessing why I even chose this dress. Well, I wanted to see if it would change my mind. I loved that it was short in the front and long in the back. Like a mullet! It was a twist to the typical bridal dress. I actually had fun wearing this.

The ordering process for these two dresses was simply. I browsed all of the available dresses for Try at Home. Don't be discouraged if you're dress is not one that is available. It may become available in the future, so fill out your information and they will contact you. You could also choose a dress that is similar just to get an idea on how it would compliment your body type. I like that Simply Bridal gives you options to narrow down your selections by style, train length, price, style, etc. It helps save a lot of time when browsing hundreds of dresses. Then, I added both of them to my cart. After filling out account information, I submitted my order.
Shipping was fast. In fact, it was in the same day that I ordered. I remember sending a tweet out that day.
Now that my seven days is up, I feel a little more confident in my selections. I am not sure which dress I am going to choose. I may have to choose another two just to get a taste of different styles on my body. Not everything looks the same on as it does in the pictures, especially on smaller models.
The great thing about Try at Home is that the $19.95 you spend on the option will go towards your purchase as a credit when you finally decide to buy a gown. It's a win-win situation and most importantly – an affordable one.
Here is a look at how simple it was to send both of my dresses back:
I didn't even have to leave the house (except to drop the box off at the store, but I'm sure there is a pick-up option). All I did was follow the instructions on the card that was included in my original shipment. I returned the gowns back the way they were sent to me. It was so easy. Almost TOO easy.
Brides, if you are looking for an alternate way to shop for your special day without breaking the bank (or your heart) give Simply Bridal a try...at home.
