Kaden Brooks, The 5th Grade Graduate
My "baby" is going to the middle school. He graduated almost one month ago from the same elementary school that I attended as a child. It seems like yesterday I was putting him on the school bus and waving good bye to him as I fought back the tears.
But, I'm okay with letting him grow up.
He is a great boy.
Here is a quick re-cap of the his promotion:
I must say that I've enjoyed watching Kaden grow up. I've had nothing but great experiences with most of his school teachers and the staff at Lothian.
I'm happy to see what the future holds for him. He is surrounded by a wonderful support system, so I expect nothing but excellence to continue.
Oh, and Kaden's outfit was a steal. I suggested he go for the "Hamptons Look". This includes white khaki pants, a blue and white pinstriped shirt with boat shoes. He looked great.
And get this – the (Arrow) shirt and (Nautica) pants were both $5.90 a piece. Mama doesn't play!
Middle school is definitely a different beast. Kaden should do just fine. A lot of his friends are also his teammates. They have been together for years.
I wish him nothing but success and happiness as he takes on the next chapter in his life.
"At the end of the day, the most overwhelming key to a child's success
is the positive involvement of parents."
~Jane D. Hull
Way to do, Kaden. We are so very proud of you.
Did you have a graduate this year?
