Oh, Baby! Let's Get Thrifty with a Video Haul.

It's no secret that I love to shop for a great bargain. It's rather thrilling to me. I love finding items that are at least 80% off of the retail price. Most of the time, I get in the 90% off range. I absolutely love it. I should make it a career!

For the last few months, I have been shopping for my new baby on the way. We all know how expensive children are. But, it does not have to be so bad. I cut costs all the time by going to thrift stores and consignment shops. I even sell my items at consignment shops for extra cash that sometimes pays for my items. It's a win-win situation.

Here is what I was able to score. I noted the greatest finds under the store's name:

Return to Oz - Annapolis, MD - Consignment
Ralph Lauren Jumpers  $3.00 and $4.50

Salvation Army - Waldorf, MD - Thrift Store
Puma Track Suit $1.99
A Pea in the Pod dress $1.99

Vintage Value - Prince Frederick, MD - Thrift Store
Old Navy denim jacket $1.00
Nike Athletic shorts $1.00
Puma Jumper $.50
Calvin Klein onesie $.50

Goodwill - Waldorf, MD - Thrift Store
Gundy Comfy Cozy Lamb $2.97 (found on Amazon.com)

The Help Association - Owings, MD - Thrift Store
Reebok Athletic shorts $2.00
Swaddle Designs blanket $1.00 (found on Amazon.com)
Fisher Price Auto Mirror $1.00

I forgot to include this in the video, but my first purchase was outside. I saw this swing and just had to check it out. I'm glad I did. It's portable and I can easily pack it in the car. It's a Fisher Price Deluxe Take Along Swing. It was the magical $3 price.

I hate saying, "That's all!" In actuality, this is a lot. When I look at all of my purchases, I must say that I have to toot my own horn. I was able to do a lot to prepare for baby and for a fraction of the price.

Thrifting is definitely my passion.
