Naturalizer Spring 2012 Shoe Review & Giveaway #myblogspark
A few years ago, I wouldn't even glance at the shoe display in the Naturalizer store at my local mall. I had conditioned my mind into thinking that their shoes were old, lacked style and just didn't fit my personality.
As time went by, I began to notice the evolution of their shoes. There was an element of quality and flair that drew my attention to the shiny, glass window display of the store. The color, the shape and the design all screamed, "We have arrived!".
This time, I stopped and went into the store. This wasn't my grandma's Naturalizer.
The one thing that we all can agree on when choosing a shoe, is the importance of comfort. This is where Naturalizer has made their mark in the world of footwear. By combining comfort and fashion, the brand has taken its "shoe game" to another level. Check out the 2012 Spring Collection from Naturalizer:
The Decade
The Fira
The Lulianna
The Posh
The Sherrie
Find these noticeable trends in the spring 2012 collection!
Retro Modern – As seen on the “Posh,” “Fira” and “Payton,” this trend captures a Seventies revival with modern day proportions like color blocking, clean/structured lines, and mixed material embellishments
Island Spirit – As seen on the “Lulianna” and “Decade,” this playful trend dons bold prints, vibrant colors, and woven linens with a tropical feel, making for the perfect “getaway” shoe
Caravan Culture– As seen on the “Sherrie” this trend invokes tribal tone canvas prints, Mediterranean hues, and strappy details, adding flair to woven and grainy leather.
I was sent The Payton to review. I love a great wedge, so I thought this style and color combination were best suited for my fashion taste.
- Leather upper in a wedge sandal style with a round, open toe
- Wide crisscross vamp straps
- Heel sling strap with an adjustable buckle
- Smooth lining, cushioning insole features N5 Comfort System
- Non-slip outsole
- 1 inch cork-like platform midsole, 2 1/2 inch wedge heel
- Total heel height 3 1/4 inches
- Original Price $79.00
What I noticed immediately when I tried the shoes on is how comfortable they were. The soles were well cushioned, making it quite possible to walk for miles in these without complaining of aching feet. I am sure the N5 Comfort System is to blame for this comfort. This system delivers key features including flexibility, softness, balance, breathability and lightness. That alone is a great selling point.
Why should I have all the fun with a great, new pair of shoes? How about I share a little something with YOU, for being such a loyal reader of my blog.
