American Girl Fashion Show Model Search at Local Maryland Malls

Hey American Girl fans in Maryland! Want to be in a fashion show and be a (role) model for your community? Here's your chance.

Any girl, age six and up who is either a size 6x (Bitty Baby outfits) or 10 (historical and Dress Like Your Doll outfits), can try out for the model search. They must fill out an application online and bring along two photographs, one of which must be a headshot. Those chosen, along with other girls from additional area searches, will participate in the American Girl Fashion Show held at Baltimore’s Hippodrome Theatre on March 24-25th, 2012. Young ladies can celebrate being a girl, both yesterday and today, through a colorful presentation of historical and contemporary fashions.

University of Maryland Children's Hospital and The Cool Kids Campaignn– a foundation dedicated to improving the quality of life for young people and their families, facing the challenges of cancer,– are sponsoring the event. All proceeds will go directly to their efforts.

The first stop will be at White Marsh Mall in Baltimore, MD.
