A Daycation is only a Hop, Skip, and Beach Away

The Inn at Herrington Harbour in Rose Haven, MD
Kaden loves the beach...and the pool. If only he had made it to his original due date in late January, he may have been an Aquarius like his mother. That would at least explain his love for all things water.

With a new school year just around the corner and summer nearing the end, a call for "calm before the storm" is in order.

We need to get away.
Not far away.
Nothing exotic.
Hold the fancy.

Just a change of scenery— preferably with a beach, pool, hot tub, food, and family.

And so, we're doing just that.

Next week, we are spending a day of unplanned relaxation. Perhaps the beach, a late-evening stroll, a canon ball in the pool. Who knows? We're doing it all at The Inn at Herrington Harbour. It is literally in our backyard.

Don't worry. It will be just like you were there. I don't go anywhere without my camera. Pictures and video will surely follow.

I'm counting down the days until my toes hit the sand. 5, 4, 3, 2...

Tell me, do you take day trips or plan staycations? What are some cool places to visit in your town?

Disclosure: We were provided a complimentary one-night stay at The Inn at Herrington Harbour. The views and opinions are my own.
