Baltimore Grand Prix is Racing to Town Labor Day Weekend

The makings of a spectacular Labor Day weekend, or the Baltimore Grand Prix for short.


Track construction began on July 25, 2011. Several sponsors have already signed on to be a part of this historical event. They include:
  • M&T Bank
  • Dr. Pepper (Official Soft Drink)
  • Royal Farms (Official Coffee)
  • Budweiser (Official Beer)
  • Merritt Properties
  • My 24-WUTB
  • Ruth's Chris
  • Constellation Wines 
  • Mr. Tire (Official tire distributor)  
Baltimore Grand Prix will showcase these partners through signage within the track as well as exclusive vendor opportunities. 

This event is for the entire family. The Baltimore Grand Prix will have a Family Fun Zone geared toward children under 12. Dr. Pepper is also providing fans the opportunity to ride high performance go-karts in the Interactive Zone all weekend (Lot A) at the Dr. Pepper Go-Kart Track. Check the website for updates on other activities scheduled to take place. 

And for all you runners out there, "A Fast-Paced Foot Race" dubbed the Baltimore Grand Prix 5K will also take place.


About Baltimore Grand Prix
The inaugural Baltimore Grand Prix is scheduled for Friday, September 2 through Sunday, September 4, 2011 and will encompass a 2.0 mile temporary street circuit traveling through the heart of Baltimore's Downtown, rushing past the scenic Inner Harbor and racing around Camden Yards. The race weekend will feature a spectacular combination of world-class racing and festivities, highlighted by the American Le Mans Series presented by Patron and the IZOD IndyCar Series.
