Two Words...GiveBack

Normally the disclosure comes at the end of the post. I'm suppose to tell my readers and anyone who happens to stop by my blog about my motives. You know, a product was provided, I am a brand ambassador, this is like my favorite product — that type of disclosure. It becomes a bit redundant, but we have to do it. I just love when I have to write a post about a cause or product that I would have normally discussed on my blog whether I was provided the opportunity or not. So, this post falls under that category.

GiveBack.org  is the creation of Stephen Paletta. He was the lucky recipient of $1,000,000 through Oprah's Big Give contest. As a requirement of winning the money, Stephen had to 'pay it forward' and 'give back' to causes he wanted to support. He decided to do it big by creating a website that echoes the same sentiments of the contest he in turn won.

GiveBack is simple. You sign-up on the site (easily done through Facebook as well), search for charities to support, shop in the GiveBack Shopping Mall and earn a percentage of your purchases from the GiveBack mall to donate to your charity. And best of all it's FREE and tax-deductible. You are even awarded $5.00 when you sign-up. It seems as though the giving never stops. Gosh it feels good to give. Such a rush!!

This video may help you understand it better:

I already registered. I am supporting the P.T.A. at my son's school, the Lupus Foundation of Greater Washington (my mom has Lupus), and the sports organization my son plays with. I can't believe how easy it was to get started. I did it all in under 5 minutes. You can too. Here's a look at My Foundation page:

I'm sure I'll be adding more charities to my foundation. There are a lot to choose from. In fact, you can give to any charity registered with the IRS. How awesome is that?

So, head on over to GiveBack.org now, register, and start earning money for your favorite charity. The holidays are about giving. Why not make it last the entire year? Give Back!

LIKE GiveBack on Facebook or follow them on Twitter @mygiveback.

Disclosure: By writing this post, I am entered to win registration to BlissDom'11 (I would die if I won...never been to a conference). This opportunity is made available because I am a proud One2One Network member. The opinions and views expressed are mine and do not reflect those of the sponsors.
