Wii Party Party Pack Giveaway - CLOSED
Congratulations! Comment #80 is the lucky winner. Thanks to all who entered. Winner has been contacted.
Looking for a way fun way to entertain family and friends during Thanksgiving? Do you own a Nintendo Wii gaming system and enjoy playing against others? Are you up for a little competition and endless opportunities to challenge fellow gamers?
If you answered "Yes" to one or all of these questions, you'll want to check out the new game for Nintendo Wii called Wii Party.
Since it's arrival on my doorstep, our family has spent countless hours uncovering an assortment of games to play. It seems as though there is a new game each time we play. In fact, Wii Party has over 80 minigames for your enjoyment.
There is a game for everyone -- all ages and skill level. You can choose several modes like House Party, Party Games, Pair Games , and of course there are the Minigames as mentioned before.
At the beginning of the game, you choose your Mii to represent you in all the games (that's only logical). Throughout your play, other Mii characters will compete against you and/or cheer you on. It was hysterical to complete a scooter race, and pull-up to Michael Jackson's house to deliver him an item. That is just part of the fun.
What I liked most about Wii Party is the assortment of games. You never know what game you're going to play, and if it does happen to be a repeat game it is different each time. I also like the feature that tells you the approximate time it is going to take to complete the entire game. This feature helps you decide what type of game is good for a quick challenge or maybe an hour of entertainment. I allow Kaden to play while I make dinner. It keeps him quiet and he knows how much time he has to play.
We are very competitive in our house. In fact, Kaden has mastered a few of the games already. I have a few favorites in which no one can beat me on...yet. I have some stiff competition. Kaden's Dad spent over an hour completing stage after stage on night. He would not give up. By the end of the night, he had completed 30 stages. I tweeted about it:
Wii Party can be played alone or with a group. Ideally, you want to have four players. It makes the games more exciting and brings out a lot of competitiveness. The one part I do not like about the game is playing against the computer. You can't really click through their turn, so you have to wait. This can be boring at times. Other times I feel like the computer is a "know it all" and wins too many games. Perhaps I need a little more practice. This is the only negative aspect though.
Wii Party can be purchased at several retailers. Most prices average around $50 and under. With the amount of games included on one disc, you are easily getting your money's worth.

To help get our energy going and to get the party started, we were also provided a $25 Dominos gift card to order delicious pizza.
Wii Party is rated E for EVERYONE. This means the entire family can enjoy, and that is always a plus. With Thanksgiving just around the corner, wouldn't you like to break out this game to work off some of that turkey? I sure am.
