ICE! at Gaylord National - How the Grinch Stole Christmas
It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas, but I haven't even eaten any turkey. The holiday season is in full swing. Relatives from near and far come together to celebrate with food, laughter, and good times. And if you are lucky enough, there will be plenty of local events to attend during this time.

This year, or in one week rather, we will be celebrating Christmas a little earlier than normal. We have been invited to experience the wonderful event known as ICE! at Gaylord National at the National Harbor. And as always, I am more excited than the children (has anyone seen my childhood?)
About ICE! at Gaylord national (as taken from their site):
This 15,000-square-foot attraction--a unique, interactive indoor wonderland created entirely of ice--is the crowning jewel of Christmas on the Potomac, Gaylord National's more than 50-day-long celebration of the holidays. Visitors will marvel at the striking detail and beautiful, theatrical renderings of beloved Christmas icons and memorable holiday scenes, all housed in a custom-built structure maintained at a temperature of nine degrees… Winter coats will be provided!Sounds like a real winter wonderland. I'm sure we'll have a blast. I will update with pictures once we visit. For now, here's a sneak peek.
