I've been watching some of the first episodes of "The New Adventures of Old Christine". I've spent a great deal of time laughing at and relating to her trials of motherhood. Although it may seem like just another television show, the truth is, someone had to experience these events in order to translate them to the tube. Television shows are almost always based on a person's experiences in real-life. Do you relate to Christine?
On a recent episode I watched, Christine had the daunting dilemma of deciding when to introduce her new guy to her son. It's kind of like the saying goes, "If you date my, you're dating my child(ren)." Christine felt this way.
Once she finally introduced her child, she was able to breathe a sigh of relief. Her son adjusted well to meeting her "friend" and the "friend" enjoyed meeting her son. It made Christine feel as if she had taken a big step toward a new chapter in her life.
So, single mothers and fathers tell me, how long did it take you to introduce your child(ren) to your new friend? What finally made you go for it? How did your child respond?

I have seen quite of bit of this show and I really like it. I have not got the chance to see some of the shows due to me never being on time home. Now that I have DISH Online I can watch new and old shows of The Adventures of the Old Christina. I'm excited to be working at DISH and being able to learn about all the ways to watch TV. I hope this show never dies.
