Smelly Towel Cleaner Review and Giveaway
Sponsored by Tomoson.com
I've done it too many times. Have you ever left a load of towels in the washer only to return hours later to a mildew-like smell? What a complete waste of your time and a washing cycle!
Now, you can eliminate these odors with a new product called Smelly Towel Cleaner.
Because I love doing laundry (did I really just write that?) I decided I must give it a try. I received my bottle of Smelly Towel Cleaner in the mail. Immediately, I washed a load of towels. For a small family, we go through a lot of towels and washcloths. I use a new one almost everyday. A little compulsive, are we?!
I loaded the towels in. I added a little over a 1/2 teaspoon of Smelly Towel Cleaner (about a cap full, my load was large). I added it to the wash. There was not need for additional detergent. Then, I let the wash cycle take it's course.
After it was done, I took out one of the wash clothes to smell. And much to my surprise, the odor was gone!
However, there was one problem with the Smelly Towel Cleaner.
I did not feel like my towels and wash clothes had the "clean" smell. I am use to detergents that leave a pleasant scent. I did not find that with this product. This would be my only complaint.
I did go on to use it in a regular load of laundry that I, once again, left sitting too long. It worked like a charm.
I would recommend purchasing a bottle of the Smelly Towel Cleaner. As mentioned before, it can be used as a detergent booster as well.

(From the website) It’s all natural has a wonderful garden fresh fragrance and is specifically made to remove that musty, mildew smell from towels and clothing. Just a teaspoon added to a full load of musty towels or laundry makes them smell like new again! Use just a half teaspoon of Smelly Towel Cleaner as a detergent booster to enhance colors and keep that fresh smell!

I have a front loading washer that gets really smelly. One thing that helps is to wipe the washer and the rubber gasket dry with a rag when I finish a load then leave the door of the washer open just a crack.
