Team Mom Review: Pop on Pals Amusement Park Playset

Mariah recently had the opportunity to review Pop On Pals thanks to Team Mom. She was given the Amusement Park Playset. At first glance she wanted to know, "What does it do?" I wanted to tell her the "Popabilities" were endless, but even I had to explore this toy more. Here is some great information on Pop On Pals:
  • Pop on Pals (ages 2-4) is a world of fun pals, pets, vehicles and playsets with endless mix n' match "Popabilities."
  • There are endless, unique and wacky combinations; a fireman becomes a musician, a princess becomes a baker, and a puppy becomes a ballerina!
  • Pop on Pals encourage imaginative play and help little ones develop fine motor skills and perfectly sized for small hands to play with.
  • The Pop on Pals Amusement Park Playset comes to life with lights, sounds, music and more! pop our pal in five different activation points for lots of action/reaction play.

    What we liked:
    • The bright colors. This was definitely what attracted Mariah to the toy before she even played it. It's hard not to miss this toy because of how vibrant the colors are.
    • The music was a plus. I found myself humming to it after awhile. (I even did it when I visited the website). Music always make playing with a toy more fun.
    • The interactive features. Mariah likes making noise. The fact that she could make her Pop On Pal move and make noise made her day. Each sound is different. It is like having your own symphony.
    • The ability to interchange pieces. Toys that you can build are are economical. Instead of purchasing so many individual pieces, you can purchase a few to make the fun stretch. You could even trade with a friend.
    • Perfect size. Mariah needed a little assistance from Kaden when changing the pieces, but they were the perfect size for her small hands.
    • Durable. It's made of plastic, so even if it gets knocked around from toting it from house to house, I believe it will hold up.
    What we didn't like:
    • The packaging. This item was very secure. Yes, that is a plus, but not for a toddler who has little patience. It took Kaden and I a few minutes to undo all of the ties.
    • The price. At $34.99 I would expect an extra Pop on Pals to come with this set. I understand you can add-on to each item, but it is a little steep. $29.99 would be more reasonable.
Overall, Pop on Pals Amusement Park Playset is a fun, colorful, and cute toy. It makes you feel cheery when playing with it. Mariah smiles several times when she was able to make music and move her Pop on Pal around. Now, Mariah can earn additional accessories for her Pop On Pals Playset as a reward. I'm sure Pop on Pals will tag along with us during the summer.

Pop On Pals are available at Toys "R" Us, Target, Kmart, Sears, and more! For more information about Pop On Pals, and to experience even more interaction, visit www.poponpals.com.
