Outback Steakhouse Hosts Charity Event to Celebrate Laurel, MD Grand Opening on January 21 #sponsored

By now, you would think that someone in my family would have picked up an Australian accent from the amount of visits we have made to Outback Steakhouse over the last couple of weeks. We love to visit this restaurant because there are a variety of items to choose from that everyone can enjoy. But, let's not forget the real reason everyone wants to visit Outback Steakhouse – the blooming onion. I could eat one of these every day and never grow tired of them.

I love that Outback Steakhouse has several locations near home. In just about every city that we venture to, there is a restaurant nearby, making it easy to enjoy our favorites no matter where we are. Of course there are those times when we don't always feel like dining in (mainly because of a cranky toddler), so we choose to order through Outback.com and the Curbside Take-Away feature.

I never know what I want to order when I go. In fact, I think I order something different each time. Want to know something else? I rarely order a steak...at the steakhouse. I don't know why that is. It could have to do with how fast I fill up while eating at a restaurant. After ordering an appetizer, eating a salad or a bowl of soup, drinking my water and feasting on the bread, there is hardly any room left for the main meal (which is why I always have a take-home container).

But, I get to enjoy my food eventually. Lately, I've been munching on these new steak tacos:

I've also feasted on the these dishes:

Enough about me and my indulgences. Let me tell you about a few wonderful things happening at Outback Steakhouse.

To celebrate Outback Steakhouse’s grand opening in Laurel, MD (14718 Baltimore Avenue Laurel, MD 20707)  the restaurant is hosting a Charity Give Back event in support of Childhood Cancer Research at Johns Hopkins. A portion of the sales for the day will go directly to the charity. This event will take place on Wednesday, January, 21, 2015. The new location will be open for lunch daily and dinner daily from 11 a.m. – 10 p.m. It will be the first in the Laurel area to feature a new “Modern Australia” building design both inside and out.
Be sure you stop by the new location to fill your belly and someone else's heart.
