Play by yourself.
Go. To. Sleep. Pleeeeaaaaase!!!!!
I'm not ashamed to admit that there are days when I make up the lamest excuses about why I can't go outdoors and play. I'll find some clever way to put it off, or, offer a bribe of some sorts to buy enough time to make my son forget what he even requested in the first place.
SHAME ON ME.
I should feel really bad about this.
Some days, I do.
Other times, not so much.
Before you get yourself all worked up about how much time we don't spend outdoors playing, let me show you how we really get down.
Washing the Car
Fun with other family members
Even though these are simple activities for a family to complete, it's nice to have some form of motivation and incentive to get active, stay healthy, and play outdoors with your family.
We took the pledge!
