Snow days for adults are not as exciting as they are for children. While they get an extra couple of hours to hibernate under the covers before heading to school, we (parents) are up at our normal time (slight exaggeration). Many of us are scrambling to rearrange the day's schedule, some of us take the day off, and a few of us go outdoors and capture the beauty of snowfall. At least that's what I did this morning. Imagine the creepy looks you get when passer-byers see a woman with her cell phone strolling in the woods. Oh well, it was worth it.
Now, like a child, I cannot wait until Kaden gets home so we can build our snowman for the First Annual Snowman Building Contest sponsored by the Anne Arundel County Department of Parks and Recreation. There's not a lot of snow to work with, but I'm sure we can come up with something.
