Dad Blogs shared a wonderful opportunity with their readers to review an item from RedEnvelope, "the place for unique and personalized gifts". I jumped at the opportunity (or at least hopped in those 4 inch heels of mine).
It was an easy decision to make because I was already in love with their red, cashmere lounge shorts I received as a gift from a friend. This time, however, the review was all about the men and the wonderful Father's Day gifts.
To keep with the entire red theme, you can elect to have your item gift-wrapped in an adorable red box wrapped in white ribbon. I ruined the bow's perfection before I was able to take a picture, but trust me when I say it looked much better than this --->.
My gift of choice was the cross links stainless-steel bracelet. It caught my eye immediately as I browsed through the list of other great Father's Day items on the RedEnvelope site.
From the website:
Brushed square crosses and polished links unite modern edge with classic cool—just like the stylish gentleman. Solid stainless steel gives the bracelet formidable strength and enduring style.
* fold-over clasp
* removable links for custom sizing
* 8 1/2"L
The bracelet is a wonderful accessory. It is extremely versatile - wear it with jeans, wear it with a suit. It catches your eye from a distance. I cannot imagine the bracelet being damaged easily.
I had my boyfriend, Ian, try the bracelet on, but he has a lot of arm hair. The links would get caught on his hairs and pull them, making it uncomfortable to wear. This is the only negative thing I can think of when it comes to the cross links stainless-steel bracelet. And then again, this really has nothing to do with the bracelet. Maybe Ian needs a razor too for Father's Day.
So, what are you going to get that special man in your life for Father's Day? RedEnvelope has a lot of options.
